It was a pleasure reading the poems penned down by Mrs. Parineeta Sharma. I also learnt freshly about River Disoi since I never new about it and the people living by the side of it, which was beautifully expressed in the poem.

At the outset i would like to appreciate Parineeta Sarma’s work in the field of poetry. Its worth mentioning that poems like "DICHOI NODIR GHAT" symbolizes the traditional superstitious beliefs among rural people. In today’s age of modern poetry, highlighting traditional beliefs is a good step ahead. Best Wishes!

The poem "DICHOI NODIR GHAAT" by Parineeta Sarmah is a visualization of a traditional Assamese village in medieval era wherein people believe in traditional beliefs and myths. The poet's poetic imagination is a cynosure of appreciation.

All the poems are good to read. But, I think, there is way to upgrade the writing level. From a viewpoint of a good reader I want to suggest all the poets to concentrate on their thinkings.
